Sprysky
Born in 1937, my father (Thomas C. Custer) trained as an architect before venturing into art. Regrettably, he was recently diagnosed with severe dementia and is now in a memory care unit in Portland, Oregon.
I now have all his artwork and it is an impressive collection that spans decades. It is in need of organization and exposure. If there is anything that he should be remembered by other than being family, it is by his amazing work that consumed so much of his life.
He may have been a talented artist but he never sold more than a few pieces. I haven’t figured out exactly what I am going to do with all of his work but to forget it or lock it away seems beyond foolish. I might as well burn it. Well Dad, it is now time to do something with your work.
I do believe that his work would look incredible in a gallery. If anyone out there can help me with this in Portland, OR or San Francisco (my sister lives there) please reach out at sweetherenow@gmail.com or (503) 482-2047.
